Facebook doesn’t allow a woman to touch herself

But A woman embracing her own body

Is not inherently sexual

I hate this censorship and mine game

Every post comes with the worry of being cancelled

Crystal had a creative idea

We ran with it and made art

But it’s the banned “hand bra” gesture

So it can’t be shared here

And I was so proud of her for not covering her belly

The part most women are embarrassed of

Because it shows evidence of being a mother

This is bullshit we have been taught

But we can unlearn it If we’re brave

And rebellious enough to unpack it

A woman’s body has been made into a war zone

Where we fight ourselves and buy what they sell

The truth is it’s THE. MOST. SACRED.

The portal that brings heaven to earth

I love that she’s not ashamed of any of it

And she wasn’t nude

She wore pearls

Woman, you are ART.

There is nothing you need to do or change about yourself to be worthy of seeing the beauty that you are.
