Couples Boudoir --- What exactly is that?!

A couples boudoir session is an intimate photography experience to celebrate your connection, trust, chemistry, and the very specific way two people look at each other when they forget anyone else is in the room. It creates artwork couples can enjoy for years, whether that means wall art, an album, or a private little treasure box of “Oh my goodness, we really did that.”

And let’s clear one very sparkly thing up right away: boudoir is not pornography or erotica. Boudoir is artful, intimate portraiture. The goal is bonding with your partner, feeling confident, and making beautiful, personalized art. Think of romance, playfulness, closeness, and storytelling as opposed to “scandalous movie scene.”

Is it awkward?

It can be, but we will all laugh through it together! It's okay to be nervous because you don't know what to expect. Photoshoot nerves usually pass after the first ten minutes.

You DO NOT have to know what to do! I will gently coach poses and playful prompts to capture authentic emotion and connection. It will feel kind of like "Simon Says."

Example - "Simon says, 'Jeremy stand behind Catherine and muzzle into her neck. Let your hands wander a little. Catherine put your hands up around his neck behind you. Breathe, relax into it. OMG That's so beautful!" And we move along. If you laugh, GOOD!

I will capture that too.

I have a posing guide printed out and we look it over beforehand to plan out what you both are comfortable with. Some couples will be more daring than others, and all are welcome.

Couples boudoir gives you permission to be HOT and Ridiculous together

Every couple has a private language. Maybe it’s weird voices. Maybe it’s terrible dancing in the kitchen. Maybe it's playing airplane and singing Barney songs like Catherine + Jeremy. (Scroll down to see the adorable photo!)
