Moments of Motherhood Photography Sessions

The smell of your baby. Their soft curls and chubby toes. The way their bodies pull and smash you as they crawl all over you. The way they look at you now.

Capture these moments and create a photographic legacy for the both of you while you can, Mama. Everyone tells you the time will fly by. Photos will become treasured heirlooms to bring you back into these memories and flood you with emotions as life goes on. The way you played, the way they needed you. They are your world and you are their ENTIRE world right now... but time is a thief in away only a Mother can understand.

I'm not yet a mother and I also did not use ChatGPT to create this blog. I'm an artist and just really passionate about printed photos. I have witnessed how fast it goes. I have seen my friends ache with the love they have for their babies as they change. I have been a photographer for many years and I know how priceless photographs are whether they are professional or not. The first littles I photographed early on in my journey have graduated high school and those photos are not the best, but they are treasure now, nonetheless...  It is an honor to create artwork of your special connections and where you are right now. It is an honor to open the boudoir studio to celebrate another aspect of the beauty and sacredness of being a woman.

And, hey, if the best you can do is DIY it on your cell phone or do seasonal mini sessions, please just print them!! :) My own childhood photos are disposable camera snapshots and they are my treasure.

Printed artwork is powerful. The photos on the wall reminds you daily of what is important and shows your children that they matter. A beautiful boxed set or a coffee table album gives you peace of mind that your photos are printed and in a safe place and it will eventually become an heirloom. Your photos are not only an ethereal idea of maybe one day printing, hanging out waiting "in a cloud," (but backing things up is always advised and we are grateful for that extra peace of mind.)

And let's talk about print quality.. Your life deserves to be documented with photos as quality physical prints and wall art from profesional labs to endsure longevity.

I am not sending you on your way with only digital files. You will get them, yes! But listen, I am a photographer and I still haven't printed everything that is on my list of things to print... and not every meaningful snapshot on every phone had been printed before that phone went KAPUT and was lost forever. Technology will keep passing us up. Let's take it back to how the magic of photography began...Printed photos will take you back to a time unlike anything else. Your story, your legacy, your love is worth it.

It takes time. These sessions are not 15 minute mini marathon chaos. It takes time for littles to settle in, nurse and have snacks, have tantrums, play and cuddle and run around. Snap some gorgeous moments... Rinse, Repeat, and snap more photos. You can schedule this around your own lifestyle. And you know what?! The session can even be done in your own home, in your own element, but, I am spoiled to natural light so that is the only requirement.
